Altech-Eco gets EPA certifications for CNG conversion systems

Altech-Eco Corp. has received certificates of conformity from the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency for CNG Bi-Fueled and dedicated conversion systems for the 2012 Ford 6.2L V8 F-250/350 pickups with Ford supplied CNG gaseous prepped engine. The dedicated version converts the vehicle to operate 100% on CNG and the Bi-Fuel version enables the vehicle to operate on either CNG or gasoline and allows users to take advantage of using CNG as a cleaner burning and more economical alternative fuel when available.

GE opens renewable energy logistics center in Mississippi

General Electric has opened its new central logistics center for renewable energy components in Olive Branch, Miss. The facility is part of GE’s strategy to further improve customer response times throughout North Americaas more wind and solar energy projects are developed and existing power facilities require maintenance.

GE Energy’s renewable energy services group will use the new logistics center to distribute replacement wind turbine parts and solar technology components. The new center is located near a FedEx hub facility, which will expedite faster, easier distributions.

The Nissan LEAF website now has the most comprehensive listing of stations in theUnited States, giving current and prospective drivers the ability to find charging stations and real-time charging station availability. ChargePoint Network now is fully integrated into the Nissan LEAF website, showing current and future ChargePoint locations. In addition, the site shows all public charging stations in the nation that have been documented by the U.S. Department of Energy.
