I do not think nuclear is the wrong direction to pursue to reach “cleaner” energy supplies, but how can we recognize it as a “renewable” energy source? These are inherently two different things and should not be mixed up. A renewable energy source is an energy source that is regenerated in nature and therefore sustainable in supply. I do not see how nuclear falls withing these boundaries in any context.
